Guns N’ Roses to Rock Belgrade in 2025: A Must-See Concert

Guns N’ Roses are coming to Belgrade!

The news has sent shockwaves throughout Europe, and for good reason. With hits like “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” and “Paradise City,” it’s hard to overstate the band’s impact on generations of music fans.

As part of their grand European tour, the legendary rockers are set to perform in Belgrade. While they’ve played in Serbia twice before (at Belgrade Arena and Exit Festival), this marks their first true concert experience in Belgrade.

Previously, Axl performed twice under the Guns N’ Roses banner, and Slash held a solo concert at Belgrade Arena. But for those out of the loop—Guns N’ Roses are back with their iconic lineup. This long-awaited reunion, arguably the most significant in rock history, sees Axl Rose and Slash sharing the stage once again. Despite years of well-documented clashes, immortalized in countless books and documentaries, they’ve reconciled to give fans the ultimate experience.

The much-anticipated Guns N’ Roses concert will take place at Usce Park, Belgrade, on July 18, 2025. This iconic venue will host several major concerts that year, but none as monumental as this. No stadium in Serbia could contain a band of this caliber.

The show comes between stops in Budapest on July 15 and Sofia on July 21. Despite nearby concerts, there’s no doubt that Usce will be packed to capacity.

So, mark your calendar:

What to Expect

A Guns N’ Roses concert is nothing short of spectacular. While Axl’s vocal quality has drawn criticism in recent years, the electrifying performances more than makeup for it.

Their shows often exceed three hours, featuring hits spanning their entire discography. Slash even plays tracks from Chinese Democracy, an album he didn’t contribute to—proof of their commitment to the fans.

Expect iconic covers as well, including two tracks from AC/DC, where Axl filled in as lead vocalist during Brian Johnson’s health hiatus. From their earliest hits to their latest, every classic will be performed.

The stage design will be as grand as the band itself, known for their jaw-dropping production value.

A special treat for the night: hip-hop legends Public Enemy will open the show. The two bands share a history, having collaborated on the Terminator 2 soundtrack. Throughout the film, Guns N’ Roses tracks are featured, and John Connor famously sports a Public Enemy T-shirt.

The Legacy of Guns N’ Roses

Formed in Los Angeles in 1985, Guns N’ Roses emerged from the fusion of LA Guns and Hollywood Roses. Their original lineup—Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, and Izzy Stradlin—set the stage for rock history.

Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction (1987), remains the best-selling debut album of all time. The single “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” dedicated to Axl’s then-girlfriend, became a global sensation.

Unfortunately, tensions between Axl and Slash led to the band’s breakup in 1994, with Axl retaining rights to the name. Yet the band’s popularity never waned, and their reunion was a dream come true for fans worldwide.

Final Thoughts

Initially skeptical about the rumors, we are thrilled that Serbia—despite not being an EU member—secured this monumental event.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness one of the greatest bands in rock history, right in our backyard. Alongside Metallica and The Rolling Stones, this will undoubtedly be one of the most significant concerts in Serbia’s history.

Don’t miss it: Guns N’ Roses, Ušće Park, July 18, 2025—Axl and Slash, together again!
