Sremski Karlovci is a small baroque town located on the slopes of Fruska Gora national park. You will explore the streets of the town and the sightseeing ends with a visit to a wine cellar and the tasting of "bermet" wine, original local wine that was included on Titanic wine list.
Visit to Petrovaradin Fortress, situated on the right bank of the Danube river, built in 17th century. It is a venue where Exit music festival (one of the biggest music festivals in Europe) is held every summer. Learn about its "Drunken Clock" and explore the underground tunnels of the fortress.
Novi Sad, the second biggest city in Serbia and capital of Vojvodina has always been the center of culture and learning. It was a great half day tour. Vladisa was extremely knowledgeable. The farmers house was very unique.
Our tour guide Katarina picked us up and was perfectly on time. She had organized a small bus for the 13 people. On the bus, she started to inform us about interesting Serbian facts while going to the monastery. With the right amount of humour, and great ‘behind-the-scenes’ – stories from her everyday life in Serbia, it was a great start to our three-day visit in Belgrade. The reservation that she made for us at a Belgrade restaurant was perfect. She really knows her country!
