After your guide picks you up, he'll take you to "Pionirski park" (Pioneers park). This central neighborhood is surrounded with the most important buildings of Belgrade, such as the National Parliament, the City Assembly (Old Palace), the President's Office (New Palace). On this spot you will get a nice overview with a context about Serbian history and history of Belgrade. We'll not bore you with facts and figures, we'll do our best to give you a good introduction.

After the Palaces, we move to one of the most important streets in Belgrade which carries the name of Prince Milos Obrenovic. The street holds important buildings, such as embassies and ministries.

The tour continues to Dedinje, Belgrade’s most prestigious residential areas where Serbian kings had their palaces. Belgrade has four Palaces, two of them are situated on Dedinje, the Royal Palace and White Palace. Along the ride we'll enjoy beautiful architecture and amazing villas built in this posh part of the city.

​T​he posh area ​of ​Dedinje​ was also home for former Yugoslavian president Tito​. Today ​the complex of his former residency hosts ​​the Museum of Yugoslavia​, but also​ his resting place​ - The House of Flowers​. While exploring th​e House of Flowers you'll hear​ from your guide​ more about Yugoslavia, some controversy about Tito, his cult, and how life was during his reign.Note the museum is ​closed on Mondays.

​The Church of Saint Sava is our next stop. This is the biggest Orthodox Church in the Balkans and one of the biggest in the world and is for sure something you shouldn’t miss while you are in Belgrade. Its monumental size will leave you speechless as well as interior decoration. Here you will learn more about the first Serbian archbishop, his influence and why he became the most important saint in the Serbian Orthodox Church.

From St. Sava Church we drive to the Republic Square. Here you'll find three important monuments: the National Theatre, National Museum and Monument of Prince Mihailo Obrenovic. Today this is the city center and a famous meeting point. From here we'll continue on foot exploring the hearth of the city center-main pedestrian street, Prince Mihailo Street. Many stories and legends are related to this area as well to the beautiful architecture.

End of the walk is in the area of King Peter’s Street. This area is also known for holding the oldest restaurant in Belgrade, "Kafana ?” and Church of the Holy Archangel Michael, also known as Orthodox Cathedral. At the end of the tour we'll summarize the exploration of Belgrade over a drink or snack in the authentic interior of the oldest Belgrade restaurant.
